The IN YOUR FACE viewbase is marketed by IN YOUR FACE LLC, a start-up company founded in July 2008 by husband and wife team Hans and Marion Kohte. Initially the idea of a hands-free iPhone holder was born to remedy a pair of sore arms after watching a two hour movie in the passenger seat during a 12 hour car trip.

After looking around for a hands-free video viewing solution they noticed that existing iPhone holders neither provided the stability required for travel nor the convenience of viewing movies up close. What followed was a pursuit to create a sleek and mobile holder with the help of professional designers.

The launch of the IN YOUR FACE viewbase coincides with an explosion of video downloads and with smartphones becoming the next personal computing platform of choice.
